"I'm sorry, Goddess," Gavin said in a rush before he ran behind the enormous tree palace, needing a moment alone before he could do anything else.
The scenery around him was a blur, and the sensations of his new body parts colliding with his thighs as he ran both elated and confused him further, tears streaming from his eyes. He ran further with a giddy, delirious drive, circling toward the back of the tree toward a series of steps and a cloud of foggy steam.
Gavin slumped down against the tree near a stream that appeared to be coming out from underneath it. His head fell into his hands as he cried, and eventually, he lay down on the ground, breathing heavily but willing his lungs to settle and slow. He was okay. He was better than okay. It's just... the most of rest of them weren't exactly dealing with a physical change to this degree, and it seemed likely that even Raccoon had had more time to come to terms with what was happening. Or, maybe, Raccoon hadn't needed it.
Thinking of that, Gavin covered his face again with a groan. The cloth around his hips didn't let him stop thinking about what was now between his legs, though. Its soft throbbing called Gavin's attention back and back and back. Braving a look at himself, Gavin got up onto his elbows and looked down, seeing a mild erection forming there. He squeaked with more confusion and delight, lying back down against the cold ground.
Slowly, gently, with his other arm thrown again over his face, he reached down to touch the cloth, giggling a little as it greeted his fingers with its gentle pulsing suction. He continued downward, running a hand over the novelty of it all, trying to convince himself that it actually was his. Playfully, he tapped the shaft, and it wavered before coming back to center, the erection welling up from deep within him and moving outward. Gavin giggled again, his delight beginning to overpower his confusion and overwhelm.
((OOC: I don't know if Maisie is interested in coming by, but Gavin might be here a while. Lol.))
Gavin
Re: Gavin
Gavin kept taking deep breaths, looking at the sky to try to calm his overstimulated body. He tried not to focus on the sound he still heard coming from the meadow behind him--moans, growls, cries of alarm.
He was just here. Just here. In the realm of a goddess.
His breathing got quick again, but he slowed himself down. What was something he could see? Well, the stream was nice. And touch? He dipped his fingers into the stream, surprised to find it warm to the touch. It almost made him want to immerse his whole body into it--it was colder here than he anticipated. But, focus. What was next? Smell? There was a floral scent in the area coupled with a potent earthy smell that seemed to be coming from the thick bark behind him. Okay, so on to taste. His saliva tasted thick and metallic. He almost wished he had stopped to grab some of the abundance of food the goddess had laid out for them, but surely there would be time for that later. Last one: sound.
Gavin strained his ears and heard some rustling in the bushes ahead of him, which startled him and somewhat defeated the purpose of the exercise. He pulled his legs awkwardly into his chest as he stared in that direction, only reminding him further of his new anatomy. Finally, a furry blue creature with an enormously fuzzy tail emerged, and Gavin tilted his head, not really certain what he was looking at. Were they a... fox? Except the fox creature looked... quite interested in him. They were not scared of him at all. In fact, they were approaching. They weren't going to eat him, were they?
When the creature was about six feet away, they stopped and curled up on the ground, waiting. Gavin tilted his head again, surprised. Were they... waiting for something? Gavin didn't have any food to give them and barely even had any clothes to speak of, let alone pockets. They stared at each other for a few more minutes, both of them briefly distracted by another slew of cries coming from behind the palace. But, still, the creature seemed more curious than afraid. At last, Gavin started to get the courage to be brave, and he got to his knees very slowly, paying attention to what the creature did in the meantime. The creature kept looking at him but didn't shift away.
"Do you like... pets?" Gavin asked, not at all convinced that the creature could understood him. The creature lifted their head, bringing it a little closer to Gavin. Gavin shuffled a little closer on his knees, closing the distance inch by inch until he could comfortably reach toward the creature. He held a hand a little bit away, checking in with the creature all the while. He could have sworn that the creature raised their brows at him as though incredulous, but he finally made contact, and the creature nudged up into his palm happily.
Laughing, Gavin stroked the creature's head happily, quickly getting comfortable enough to stroke down the top of the creature's back, which elicited a set of pleasant shivers all through the creature. Gavin blinked, not sure he had ever seen an animal visibly experience so much pleasure before. Was this okay? But the creature seemed to be enjoying it. In fact, they were standing on all their legs now, eagerly pressing themselves into Gavin's hand. He laughed again. This was making him feel better.
"You don't care whether I'm a boy or a girl, do you," Gavin asked rhetorically. The creature nuzzled themselves against his leg.
((OOC: I suspect that they will stay like that for a while and then will come investigate together after they see the big dome light thing.))
